Can a home watch service also handle repairs and arrival prep?
Yes, with one important distinction. A good home watch company inspects your home, catches problems early and coordinates the fix. The repair itself should be done by a licensed, insured professional. Here's how that works at Snowbird Home Care.
Home watch finds the problem
Every visit is a full inspection of every system your home has: leaks, HVAC, pool equipment, doors, windows and security. You get a photo report within 24 hours, and anything that needs attention is flagged right away.
Vendor coordination gets it fixed
When something needs repair, we contact you first. With your approval, we book a licensed, insured pro, let them in, stay while they work and send photos of the finished job. Vendor coordination is $60 an hour with a one-hour minimum, plus the vendor's invoice.
Why we don't do the repairs ourselves
Many repairs in Arizona legally require a licensed contractor, and licensed pros protect your insurance coverage and warranties. Our job is to make sure the right person shows up, does the work and documents it.
Arrival prep closes the loop
Before you fly back, we cool the house, run water through every tap and toilet, sort your mail and walk through with photos. Add fridge stocking and your kitchen is ready when you land. Arrival Prep is $149.
